What interests me is the way the human spirit gives form to a variety of experience. I try to look for traces of this activity wherever I may find myself. I like to use the photographic process and making music as a way of walking the path between impression and expression; the undefined and the exact.
While on this path it seems inevitable that one encounters the images of art, myth and religion as well as poetry and science. All these fields provide strong expressions of the imagination and how it gives symbolic meaning to our existence. My sources come from these traditions.
I am passionately curious about the ways in which facts and the imagination can be brought together as images. I hope that my art can, in some way, sensuously renew the resonance of things to human eyes.
When the sky and the rose
contemplate the silence of the moment
The dance of the shadows
will seize the light air of this present world
The deadly golden bee is nothing but
a delicate dream of lace
